The 2008 Bow-Wow-Meow River Run
6K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Pet Walk*
Hosted By Star 92.9 FM
Where: Bledsoe-Miller Recreation Center 300 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
(across from the Suspension Bridge)
When: October 4, 2008 @ 10 am (Rain or Shine!)
Why: The goal of this race is to raise money for the ABC Clinic's Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program,
which provides local residents with a humane, non-lethal alternative to feral cat control.
Parking at Bledsoe Miller will fill quickly. Please car-pool if possible park at the convention center
and walk across the suspension or Washington Street bridge.
Cost: $15 early registration (postmarked by Friday, September 19th)
$18 day of race registration (registration table open from 8:00-9:45 am)
-All participants will receive an Event T-shirt & Goodie Bag
-The first 50 registrants will receive a Bicycles Outback water bottle!
Ø Age-group winners of the 6K race will receive medallions, and overall male and female winners will receive additional prizes.
Ø Race registration can be accessed under the "registration" tab located at the top of the page.
Ø Plan on staying after the race for a family picnic, charity raffle, dog-wash, and more!
